Providing the best student experience is important to us, and we heard your feedback loud and clear. You want an easy, straightforward, mobile-friendly way to apply for scholarships that you are eligible for. We’re proud to say that now all GS Eagles will be able to:

• Answer questions and match to scholarship opportunities you are eligible for
• Easily apply online to multiple scholarship opportunities through a personalized portal
• See scholarship metrics to determine your chances and effort required to apply
• Be alerted whenever you are matched to new scholarship opportunities
• Receive automated reminders about outstanding tasks and next steps

Please note that if verification of enrollment is needed, this is done by Enrollment Services. You can contact their office at (912) 478-3675 if you have any questions. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain this verification from their office. It can also be found on their website.

Scholarship Disbursement:

Please include a memo that includes the student’s name and Eagle ID.  If you have more than one student receiving the scholarship, you can send separate checks or include them all in one check. As long as you identify the student name, Eagle ID, and the amount due to each student, we can process it to disburse to the students.  All scholarships of $1,000 or more will be split into two semesters (for example $500 Fall 2023 and $500 Spring 2024) unless otherwise noted on the memo.
