Student Holds Information
Address Discrepancy: Submit your address changes via your Student Wings account under Personal Information. You will need to contact the Registrar’s Office once you have made your changes in Wings to have the hold removed (regrecords@georgiasouthern.edu). You may also visit the Registration & Records area of the Registrar’s Office and have a staff member update your address information. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from classes until the Registrar’s Office has a current address and the hold is removed.
UG Admissions Office: Contact Admissions Office at 912-478-5391. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
Business Office: Review your holds in Wings and contact the number provided for the business office hold. If no number is listed, please call Enrollment Services 912-478-3675. You will not be allowed to request transcripts until the Bursar’s Office has received your payment and the hold is removed.
RHSC/CPC- English, Math, Foreign Language, Natural Science, and/or Social Science: You cannot register via web or withdraw from a class until you have registered for your RHSC/CPC course. Please contact the Registrar’s Office at regrecords@georgiasouthern.edu.
Employee/Faculty: This hold is informational and will not stop registration.
East GA at S’boro student: You cannot register or withdraw from a class via web. This hold will stay on your record until you transfer. If you have questions, please call the Office of Admissions at 912-478-5391.

Financial Hold: Review your invoice balance and submit payment to clear this hold. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from classes or obtain your transcript/diploma until the Bursar’s Office has received your payment and the hold is removed.

Graduate Admissions: Contact the Graduate Admissions Office at 912-478-5384. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
Housing: Contact University Housing at 912-478-5406 or housing@georgiasouthern.edu. Housing Judicial holds will prevent registration until resolved.
Immunization: Georgia Southern does not have your immunization records. Contact Health Services at 912-478-5641. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
International Student: Contact the Center for International Studies at 912-478-0332. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
Judicial Affairs: Contact the Judicial Affairs Office at 912-478-0059. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
Learning Support-English: You cannot register or withdraw from a class via the web. Please contact the Academic Success Center at 912-478-5371.

Libraries: Contact University Libraries at (912) 478-5647 (Statesboro – Henderson Library) or (912) 344-3027 (Armstrong – Lane Library) or email library@georgiasouthern.edu. Library holds will prevent the release of transcripts until resolved.
Medical Withdrawal: Contact the Dean of Students Office at 912-478-3326. You will not be allowed to register or withdraw from a class until the hold is removed.
Nelnet: This hold is informational only and will not restrict any services.
Owes Nelnet: Please contact Nelnet Business Solutions at 800-609-8056 to resolve your outstanding balance.
Perkins Loan: Please contact 912-478-1264 to discuss your Perkins Loan.
Parking Hold: Payments can be made online through the My.GeorgiaSouthern.edu
Pre-Banner Institutional Credit: You cannot view your transcript via the web or request an official transcript. Contact the Office of the Registrar at regrecords@georgiasouthern.edu.
