STEM Programming Success

On September 2 &  3, 2015 the Office of Career Services hosted the 2015 Fall STEM night and STEM Career Fair. We were fortunate this year to welcome 11 distinguished panelists from a variety of STEM industries to participate in a Q&A with students from all Colleges about the value of taking advantage of experiential learning opportunities while in college. Additionally, 15 employers conducted information sessions on their companies and discussed current openings, company culture, and answered questions from students.

The following day, the STEM Career Fair boasted 86 total employers and over 600 students attended to network, apply for open positions, and meet recruiters from a variety of companies in the STEM fields. Some of the more recognizable companies that were in attendance included: GM, Textron, AT&T, Gulfstream Aerospace, CDC, KIA, Norfolk Southern, CSX, Frito-Lay, and Delta Airlines.
