About Enrollment Services

In an effort to establish centralized communication surrounding student services, Georgia Southern University set out to create an environment where students could come to get more information about student services and requirements regarding student admissions, aid, accounts, and records. The concept of Enrollment Services was introduced and a journey began.

The concept of Enrollment Services was initially introduced to Georgia Southern University in 2018. The idea of centralized communication surrounding student services is a great concept, but there is still no blueprint for the creation and implementation of Enrolment Services for higher education. Therefore, Georgia Southern University has set out to become the premiere blueprint in creating and implementing Enrollment Services for higher education.

Through two years of dedicated service and strategic planning, the first phase of Enrollment Services officially opened on September 21, 2020, on the Armstrong Campus. The Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University houses our first walk-up service center and our Enrollment Services Call Center. The second Enrollment Services walk-up service center officially opened on March 1, 2021, on the Statesboro Campus of Georgia Southern University. After one year, the third-phase of Enrollment Services opened on our Liberty Campus in Hinesville, Georgia on May 16, 2022.
