The Office of Financial Aid is a unit of the Division of Enrollment Management. Forty full-time staff and numerous student employees are available to help with even the most difficult questions.

Counselors are available to assist students and parents during regular office hours, in person, by e-mail, or by telephone. If a student is unable to meet during regular office hours, an after-hours appointment can be made.

On December 27, 2020, Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act. The law includes provisions regarding the FAFSA Simplification Act—a sweeping redesign of the processes and systems used to award federal student aid. Specifically, the law makes it easier for students and families to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA® ) form as well as expands access to federal student aid. Due to the significant changes, the FAFSA opening date for the 2024-2025 award year will be delayed.
The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be pushed back from October 1, 2023, to sometime in December 2023. For detailed updates please click here.

Student loan borrowers can get lower payments from the new SAVE Plan. If you sign up for the REPAYE Plan now, you will automatically be enrolled in the SAVE Plan before payments resume.
