Scholarships

Georgia Southern University has an array of scholarships for many majors, degrees, and class levels. The Department of Financial Aid also maintains a current listing of scholarships from outside the university. Please note that if verification of enrollment is needed, this is done by the Registrar’s Office. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain this verification.

Scholarship Disbursement:

The check for the scholarship(s) should be mailed to this address:

Georgia Southern University
P.O. Box 106099
Atlanta, GA 30348-60990

Please include a memo that includes the student’s name and Eagle ID.  If you have more than one student receiving the scholarship, you can send separate checks or include them all in one check. As long as you identify the student name, Eagle ID, and the amount due to each student, we can process it to disburse to the students.  All scholarships of $500 or more will be split into two semesters (example: $250 Fall 2023 and $250 Spring 2024) unless otherwise noted on the memo.
