Ask ISAP Virtual Event for GS international students

Changes in UG Admissions requirements due to COVID-19

April 3, 2020

First-year students applying to Georgia Southern University for the summer and fall 2020 semesters can be admitted without an ACT or SAT score, if they have a sufficiently high GPA. This is yet another way Georgia Southern is adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has prompted the College Board and ACT to suspend all upcoming ACT and SAT testing dates.

International applicants who are Non-native English speakers require a Proof of English Proficiency. They may submit SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL (Including Home Edition), and Duolingo English Test. For more details see the International Student Admissions Requirements.

ISAP at AACRAO Winter Institute in DC

At the beginning of February, Naundie and Maya from the ISAP team went to Washington DC to learn more about how to evaluate college transcripts for international students at the AACRAO Winter Institute.
