Graduation Invitation Letters

Graduating students who would like an invitation letter for family/friends to attend commencement may request a graduation letter from our office by emailing international@georgiasouthern.edu; please include a copy of the passport bio page for each person who is requesting to visit.  We recommend sending a copy of the Form I-20 along with the graduation letter to the person(s) requesting to visit the U.S. for graduation.

Please know that the issuance of a visa to enter the U.S. for any person is never guaranteed, even with a support letter from the Georgia Southern international office. The decision to issue a visa (or not) is made entirely at the discretion of a U.S. consular officer after a visa interview.
