Please plan to arrive on your campus on the following dates:
- Undergraduate Students: August 3-4, 2021 (move-in to university housing is allowed)
- Graduate Students: August 2-4, 2021
These dates will allow you time to settle in prior to beginning orientation.
The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is the closest airport to Georgia Southern University. This airport is about 45 minutes from the Statesboro campus and 25 minutes from the Armstrong Campus. The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport should be your final flight destination, since transportation from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is costly and limited.
Arriving to Campus
Students arriving on their own are encouraged to arrive on campus during business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday). Depending on when your flight arrives, you may need to spend the night at an airport hotel. A list of Savannah/Hilton Head Airport hotels can be found here.
Contact ISAP at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on transportation from the airport.
