Latham’s Spring with Senator Chambliss

landon_saxbyLandon Latham, Sr. Economics, interned in the office of Senator Saxby Chambliss during the Spring 2013 semester. When asked what his most memorable experiences have been, Latham shared: “Being in the middle of the action; working in the office buildings and around the capitol every day. It was amazing to be a part of it all.” Legislative Interns have the unique opportunity to be part of the congressional activity of the Nation’s capitol. Landon applied for the internship opportunity through Georgia Southern’s Legislative Internship application process and was selected by Senator Chambliss’s office for the Spring internship. Students looking for a unique experience that complements any major should consider this opportunity. Congressional staff utilize interns as full-time support during the Fall or Spring semester internship and you work directly on important issues facing the citizens of Georgia and the United States.
