A branch of the University’s Division of Enrollment Management, our mission is to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely data and analytical support to empower data driven decision-making by administrators, staff, faculty, students, alumni and other stakeholders in support of the mission of the University.
- Providing the University administrators with information that supports institutional strategic planning, policy formation and decision making.
- Providing analytical and study design services to University committees and departments on an as-needed basis.
- Providing institutional data to external regulatory agencies such as federal, state and regional governments including the University’s reporting obligations to the Georgia Board of Regents, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and other external agencies.
- Creating and maintaining relationship with professional associations and participating in state and national conferences.
Performing other duties as assigned.
On December 12, 2017, the University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved resolutions making the consolidation Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University official as of Jan. 1, 2018. The new, consolidated institution continues under the name Georgia Southern University. Unless otherwise noted, most reports provided for fall 2017 and prior will be split by historical university. Fall 2018 marks the beginning of reporting for the consolidated Georgia Southern University.
