Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research

A branch of the University’s Division of Enrollment Management, our mission is to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely data and analytical support to empower data driven decision-making by administrators, staff, faculty, students, alumni and other stakeholders in support of the mission of the University.

Functions:

  • Providing the University administrators with information that supports institutional strategic planning, policy formation and decision making.
  • Providing analytical and study design services to University committees and departments on an as-needed basis.
  • Providing institutional data to external regulatory agencies such as federal, state and regional governments including the University’s reporting obligations to the Georgia Board of Regents, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and other external agencies.
  • Creating and maintaining relationship with professional associations and participating in state and national conferences.

Performing other duties as assigned.
