Military Withdrawal Process

Military Withdrawal A student who is called to active duty to serve in the military while attending courses at Georgia Southern is eligible to receive a Military Withdrawal. Students receiving this type of withdrawal are withdrawn as of the cut order date of the provided military orders. A 100% refund is issued. The student will receive “WM” grades for all courses that the student is enrolled in during the semester and will not affect the student’s GPA. Military withdrawals are exempt from the Policy Limiting Individual Course Withdrawals.

The Military Withdrawal process is an all or nothing process.  You cannot be militarily withdrawn from one or two classes.  The Military Withdrawal withdraws the student from all of their classes.
